Fluorotron(TM) Master Model FM-1

The Model FM-1 uses a Commodore 4032 computer which does not store the date in its system clock.  The date is entered manually as the last two digits.  There is no differentiation between 19xx dates or 20xx dates.  Scans are not sorted by date, but rather stored and displayed in the order performed

Users should continue to enter the date using the last two digits of the 20xx year after December 31, 1999.

Although totally unrelated to the Year 200 issue, Model FM-1 systems are now very old.   It is recommended that these systems receive service maintanence, and owners give serious consideration to purchasing a computer upgrade.  The Commodore 4040 diskette storage system is no longer considered reliable given the age of both the technology and the equipment itself.  Please contact your OcuMetrics representative for further information.
